AAI-DU is an Ecumenical Christian Minority University and is looked
upon as an oasis of higher education by the community.
Dr. Sam Higginbottom the founder of the Allahabad Agricultural
Institute was a man of prayer and vision. Inspired by the mission to
Feed the Hungry and Serve the Land , he laid the foundation of AAI-DU;
now ready to celebrate it's centennial in the year 2010. It is an
internationally recognized university, producing : skilled
professionals, technocrats, health and agricultural scientists,
educationists, managers, computer experts, pharmacists, engineers
and nutritionists. We cherish our faith, culture, and tradition in
training, motivation, and personality development of youth. Our
teaching research and extension activities are based on the global
and industrial manpower requirement at various levels, as projected
through the national policies. By the grace of God we have been
striving and moving ahead in raising the knowledge base in
specialized and diversified sciences. Our focus is on monitoring the
quality of our product, by reviewing and modifying the curricula
strategically for the degree programmes offered. The pioneer
Institute has achieved its mission and goals through its eight
faculties, each having Colleges and Departments thereof . The
university offers UG, PG and doctoral programmes in most of
specialized areas and in inter- disciplinary fields of learning and
research.
Our laboratories have modern facilities managed by qualified and
devoted teachers, who continually improve upon methodologies, using
computer aided tools to establish scientific theories taught in
spacious and comfortable classrooms. Elaborate computer facilities
and synergistic net working help is available in achieving high
standards and proficiency in teaching and research. Most of our
alumni have been serving national and international organisations
holding key positions, and contributing in their growth as experts,
industrialists, and educational administrators, which reflect our
commitment towards placement of our quality product. These claims
have been proved true when AAI-DU has been recently accredited by
NAAC and has been awarded B++ (80-85%)to this novice University.

need of churches we are offering on campus diploma and PhD degree
programmes in Christian Theology, and also in Distance Education
mode approved by UGC, through various seminaries. The city of
Allahabad has ample opportunities for the seekers of truth. In Yeshu
Darbar Word of wisdom is shared everyday, to give spiritual
understanding of Truth, leading to the eternal life. The Darbar also
serves as a laboratory to the students of School of Mass
Communication and College of Theology. The University is now
planning to offer its own integrated degree programmes, and also in
collaboration with foreign universities. AAI-DU has a history in
training men and women coming from different walks of life from
