Communication is the initial need of a Society for
survival and Language is the tool that brings in socialization. To progress
in different fields of life in the international panorama, people need to
enhance their proficiency in linguistic communication and proficiency in
English is an essential element to meet the demands of globalization.
The Department of English at Allahabad Agricultural Institute-Deemed
University provides a platform for the students of English literature, as
well as for the students of different technical programmes of this
University, for the practice of this language, besides their respective
technical trainings. We equip our students to achieve an effective
competency in this competitive world.
The Department offers a Master's Degree programme and a Doctoral Degree
programme in English Literature apart from the various courses related to
professional communication for the overall development of each student of
this University. From time to time, the Department also arranges and
conducts workshops for the English language proficiency skills and interview
skills for the students.
