Department of Teacher Education offers Bachelor's Degree
in Education (B.Ed.) and the Master's Degree in Education (M.Ed.) The B.Ed
programmes enrolls total number of 200 students and the M.Ed enrolls about
25 students. Both the programmes and courses have been duly recognized by
the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur- Rajasthan vide
FNRC/ NCTE/ F- 3 / U.P. - 580 / 2002. In addition to the above mentioned
courses, the College is running the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education
with the annual intake of 50 students.
The B.Ed. programme of AAI-DU aims to prepare teachers for Secondary and
Higher Secondary levels drawing students from streams of Arts, Science and
Commerce as well. The Courses that we offer are multi-dimensional and
multi-faceted too. Besides, the Department is well equipped with
experienced, qualified, competent and a dedicated band of teachers.
Teacher Education Department is having well equipped laboratories and
library facilities with collection of more than 10,000 latest edition books,
magazines, journals etc. being computer facilitated. Besides this, the
Psychology Lab, Language Lab and Educational Technology Lab. adorn the
Department.
